Privacy Policy
Click (“we”, “us”) is operated by CORPEL XYZ. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Click iOS app and this website, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account data: your email address and an account identifier. You sign in with Apple or with a sign-in link sent to your email; Click never stores a password. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email Apple shares with us.
- Profile data: display name and your stamp settings (the mark shown on your clips).
- Story data: story membership, join codes, clip metadata, and story status.
- Media: the short video clips you record, including their audio. Finished stories are assembled on your device from those clips; we do not upload the combined video.
- Device permissions: camera and microphone access are required to record clips. Photo library access is requested only when you save a video or photo to your library.
- Usage data: a small number of in-app events (for example, when a story is shared or a notification is opened) tied to your account, so we can understand how Click is used.
How we use information
We use your information to provide the Click service: authentication, story collaboration, clip storage, playing finished stories to their members, and delivering notifications you have opted into. We do not sell your personal information.
Where data is stored
Click uses Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage. Your clips are stored in private storage buckets and are only readable by members of the story they belong to.
Analytics and tracking
Click does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and does not track you across other apps or websites. The usage events described above are collected by Click itself and stored with your account data.
User-generated content
Clips you upload are shared with other members of the story. Until the story owner completes it, each member sees only their own clips. Story owners control when a story is locked and completed, can hide clips, and can remove members. Any member can report an inappropriate clip from within the app, and reported clips are reviewed by us.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from You → Delete Account in the app. Deletion removes your account and associated personal data from our systems, subject to any data we must retain by law.
Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete associated personal data. Story media owned by other users may remain until those stories are deleted by their owners.
Children’s privacy
Click is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
